Course Details

Objectives: In the 1st and 2nd semester: 6 compulsory subjects. In the 2nd and 3rd semester, there is a specialization in two of the 6 profile areas:

• Computer vision - image and sensor analysis - including 2D and 3D structure and object extraction, image sequence analysis, Statistical pattern recognition and knowledge-based image analysis, several modules to choose from
• Technical navigation and process monitoring including dimensional survey methods, some chapters on GNSS, several compulsory elective modules
• Earth System Observation - Geomonitoring & Remote Sensing - including recent geodynamics, seminar on Earth system observation, SAR and InSAR remote sensing, regional gravity field modelling, several elective modules
• Geoinformatics - Modeling, management and analysis of geodata including GeoDB, 3D/4D GIS, geoinformatics project, several compulsory modules to choose from
• Earth Observation – Part A – including hyperspectral remote sensing, tomographic laser and radar sensing, geodetic application of SAR interferometry, advanced analysis in GIS, several elective modules
• Earth Observation - Part B - GeoDB, Remote sensing methods, Recent Earth observation programs and systems, Scientific processing of GNSS data, several elective modules
