Course Details

Objectives: Offered exclusively at ELISA Aerospace Bordeaux, the Bachelor's degree in Drones and Mechatronics – Design & Industrialization prepares students to design, develop, and industrialize innovative mechatronic systems, with specific applications in the drone sector.

The program combines courses in mechanics, electronics, automation, embedded programming, and industrialization to cover the entire lifecycle of a system: from needs analysis to prototype development and industrialization. Particular attention is paid to the sustainability, regulatory, and safety challenges specific to the sector.

Graduates are able to work in international and multidisciplinary teams, manage technical projects, and integrate new technologies in a rapidly evolving industrial environment.

Admission requirements: General Baccalaureate and STI2D and STL Baccalaureate

Acquired skills during the training : A training program built around 6 core competency blocks:
- Designing a mechanical system from specifications to prototype fabrication,
- Designing an embedded system from specifications to prototype fabrication,
- Programming and integrating a mechatronic system based on functional specifications,
- Industrializing a mechatronic system for pre-series or series production,
- Identifying professional uses and regulatory frameworks applicable to drones,
- Managing an international project using management tools

Duration and terms: Over 3 years:
• Year 1: 6-week introductory internship in the company, starting in June,
• Year 2: 8-week assistant technician internship, starting in June,
• Year 3: Alternating work and study in a company, 19 weeks of classroom instruction and 33 weeks of work experience (including holidays).
