Course Details

Objectives: The objective is to train senior executives specialized in numerical simulations in the fields of mechanical engineering.

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Acquired skills during the training : The course makes it possible to acquire, in addition to the organizational, relational and general scientific skills of a master's level, disciplinary skills in calculations and numerical simulations:

Master common techniques in the field of mechanical engineering: dimensioning of parts stressed in tension, compression, shear, torsion and bending
Possess the theoretical bases of the main laws of behavior in mechanics. Being able to choose a model in view of an objective
Integrate the industrial design component in the design phase, be able to interact with designers
Mastering digital tools, through the use of different calculation codes, in order to solve mechanical problems resulting from nonlinear and nonstationary modeling
Mastering the behavior of composite and wood-type materials
