Course Details

Objectives: The Lycée Riquet offers through various lessons, a “Space Path” from the second to the Terminal.

In second ,
- a specifically Space-oriented class entitled "Space and Exploration": This is a general second class whose lessons are related to space themes, in particular on specific activities but which may vary from one year to another (integration trip, company visit, meetings, collaboration).
- and an SI-CIT class oriented "Space": This grouping of two courses in a single option called SI-CIT will allow to approach notions specific to industrial sciences 1h30 per week.

In Première: a “Space and Manned Flight” activity and/or a “STI2D Space” class
The students of Première, interested in Space, can find themselves in the EVH activity (Space & Inhabited Flights) where different themes are approached through projects. example in 2022-2023: the theme was: Exploring, Living and Contemplating Space with: a trip to the Euro Space Center, conferences, participation in the "E-science storytellers" competition, and the production of posters.

In Terminale: an “Astronomy” activity and/or a “STI2D Space” class: Terminale Astro activities bring together students from different classes who are interested in astronomy (astronomy evening and meeting with professionals).

Degree Level (EU) : 4 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Admission requirements: These second classes are only accessible to students from the Lycée Riquet sector
