Course Details

Objectives: The ESTACA aeronautical engineering training prepares students for the current and future challenges of the aeronautical sector. Lightweighting of aircraft, reduction of polluting emissions, increase in aircraft capacity, development and integration of electrical controls: innovation is constant for engineers working in the aeronautics sector in order to reconcile economic and technical performance in complete safety.

From the integrated preparation to the 5th year: a course that prepares for the aeronautical sector
Being an aeronautical engineer means working on the design or operation of aircraft (planes, helicopters, balloons, drones) and embedded systems. This can be ensuring the technical conduct of the development program, carrying out ground or flight tests, developing production methods, optimizing quality processes, prospecting and negotiating contracts.
The aeronautical training program prepares for the major challenges of the sector. It starts from the integrated preparation cycle.
in 5th year: specialization in transport engineering.
Note that 2 cross-functional specializations are offered in addition to these: Eco mobility and Design engineering in project mode.

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Acquired skills during the training : The ambition of aeronautical training is to train operational aeronautical engineers, adaptable to the company's technological developments to help develop the transport and new forms of mobility of tomorrow.

Students acquire:

The scientific and technical bases essential to the profession of aeronautical engineer.
Practical knowledge to understand the tools and methods of engineering.
In-depth knowledge of the aeronautics sector thanks to four years of immersion in the academic and associative framework and rich exchanges between passionate students.
Team project management, thanks to the many projects proposed and supervised by active engineers and teacher-researchers.
Operational skills thanks to a long experience in business. (12 months minimum internship throughout the course).
