Course Details

Objectives: The Energy Mention aims to train senior executives in the disciplines of energy, fluid mechanics, combustion, energetics, optical metrology and laser diagnostics, process optimization, including as developers and users of diagnostics and instrumentation involved in the physical analysis of the quantities characteristic of these environments. The training is built on research strengths and industrial demand in the fields of energy, energetics, reactive and two-phase fluids, optical metrology and processes. It is through the three major axes essential to improve efficiency and reduce energy expenditure as well as its disadvantages (the valorization and management of the existing, new energy concepts and the development of instrumentation) that are structured the Mention courses.

The professional and research paths are developed in a complementary manner to meet the requirements for understanding physical mechanisms and their practical applications. The students thus trained are able to ensure the transfer of the most advanced technologies to the company. The discovery and use of experimental means and simulations occupy a large part of the training.

The FIRST course provides students with specific knowledge in energy, fluids, optical metrology and the development of optical and digital methods. Graduates have the possibility of opting for professional integration as a design, application, R&D or technical-sales engineer, but also of moving towards research professions.
