Course Details

Objectives: The SEE Master provides solid, high-level scientific training in electrical energy systems engineering. This master's degree specializes students in the design and control of electrical system components (power electronics, electrical machines, batteries, etc.) as well as the operation (control) of said systems. The main fields of application cover a broad spectrum of industry such as transport (electric vehicles, avionics, railway traction, tramways, etc.), the production of electrical energy from renewable and alternative energies (wind, tidal, photovoltaic). , fuel cell, etc.), home automation (household appliances), medical electronics and even watchmaking.

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Acquired skills during the training : The professional skills of graduates must enable them to:
– direct technical studies in the field of design, modeling and simulation of electrical system components: electrical machines, power electronics converters, electrical energy storage units,
– apply new methodologies for modeling and simulation of electrical energy systems in interaction with other systems,
– the integration of new technologies in the management of electrical networks and complex electrical energy devices,
– use computer-aided design (CAD) tools to solve multi-physics problems using specific calculation software,
– develop and manage real-time control applications for industrial electrical devices,
– conduct fundamental and applied research in electrical energy.
