Course Details

Objectives: The Mechanical Systems Designer is the professional technical expert for design, research and development engineers in the industry.

Based on a customer need, it designs and tests prototypes and new processes or carries out studies to improve existing products with the aim of making them more economical or innovative, while minimizing their environmental impact. He is required to manage his project alone or in a team. In addition to his technical mastery, he must know how to plan, design and direct tasks whose execution he will delegate.

Degree Level (EU) : 6 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Acquired skills during the training : The objective of this diploma is to train highly qualified middle managers for industrial companies, with the mission of:
Technical production of part of a mechanical project: 3D scanning, drawing, quotation, drawing, assembly.
Management of technical relations between the design office and the methods teams.
Industrialization and simulation based on the digital definition of the industrial product.
Sizing and validation of mechanical performances using analytical and numerical methods, kinematics and structural mechanics.
Integration of environmental standards into product design.
Professional communication.

Duration and terms: Duration: 1 year – 560 hours
Work-study program: 16 weeks spread regularly over the year
