Objectives: Design and develop the hardware architecture, software and communication interfaces of an embedded system
Establish specifications for an embedded device
Simulate the operation of an on-board device
Develop and implement test and validation equipment
Optimize the functional performance of an embedded device: processing capacity, communication, energy consumption, etc.
Manage multidisciplinary project teams working on the different parts of an embedded system

In the final year, the student can choose two options from, for example: Data Scientist & Big Data, 3D Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality, Cybersecurity, Robotics, Research, Project Portfolio Management, Business Unit Manager, Innovation, Entrepreneurship. The list of options offered depends on the campus.

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Prerequisites: Hold a general baccalaureate with a scientific emphasis, STI2D or STL

Acquired skills during the training : Technical skills: with a perfect command of analog, digital and power electronics, as well as the programming of microprocessors or system software, this engineer designs, develops and manages efficient and secure embedded systems for IoT. It relies on design and simulation tools to identify their behavior before production. It tests the products developed on a real scale to validate the intended operation to deliver reliable and safe equipment.
Soft skills: Interlocutor of many stakeholders, he demonstrates availability, organization, anticipation, diplomacy. He has good communication skills and demonstrates agility

Duration and terms: 5 or 3 years on many campuses (to be checked)
