Course Details

Objectives: The BUT Physical Measurements allows students to be trained over three years in the field of instrumentation and measurement of physical and physico-chemical quantities.

The graduate in Physical Measurements ensures the choice, implementation and implementation of the measurement chain, from the acquisition sensor to the operating tool and the interpretation of the observed phenomena.

Degree Level (EU) : 6 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Acquired skills during the training : The Physical Measurements GOAL is structured around the following skills:
• Carry out a measurement campaign
• Deploy metrology and quality approach
• Implement a measurement and instrumentation chain
• Characterize physical and chemical quantities, and the properties of a material
• Define specifications for measures in an environmental approach

Targeted careers : BUT Physical Measurements graduates, thanks to their versatility, are able to adapt to new technologies and acquire additional training at any time.
They find jobs in all sectors of industry, research and services, such as: automotive, materials, chemistry, environment, metrology and instrumentation, quality, technical-commercial, manufacturing, biomedical, agri-food, testing services , electronics, optics, or even aeronautics.
