Course Details

Objectives: Formerly organized into three sectors (EIS, IR&C, SES), Esisar's engineering training will evolve at the start of the 2024 school year.

The first two years of the engineering cycle allow the acquisition of a broad base of fundamental knowledge in Computer Science, Network, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Automation, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence with choice modules which prepare for final year specialties.

From the second year of the engineering cycle, students (students and apprentices) begin to specialize (at least 50% of courses are elective).
In the fifth year, they choose one of the four specialties offered. They also follow optional modules to deepen their knowledge in one of the areas of expertise offered or broaden their knowledge to other areas.
Throughout the engineering cycle, a large place is given to learning through practice, whether through projects at school, internships in companies or through school-company alternation for students with apprentice status in partnership with the ITII Dauphiné-Vivarais.

During studies at Esisar, international mobility (academic or internship) is compulsory.
For students, minimum mobility of one semester (17 to 20 weeks).
For apprentices, minimum mobility of one quarter (9 to 12 weeks).

Throughout their studies, students receive lessons in modern languages (English compulsory, other languages optional), in sport, in business techniques (business knowledge, project management, eco-design, entrepreneurship, innovation, creativity), societal issues (sustainable development and social responsibility), research.

Students follow lessons linked to personal development (self-knowledge and professional project).

4 specialties offered at ESISAR: Secure Information Systems (SIS), Secure Embedded Systems (SES), Embedded Electronic Communicating Systems (SEC), Embedded Control-Command Systems (S2C)
+ 3 complementary areas of expertise: Intelligent Distributed Systems, Cybersecurity of Hardware and/or Software Systems, Radio Frequency Systems
