Course Details

Objectives: Grenoble INP - Phelma, UGA trains, in partnership with ITII Dauphiné-Vivarais, engineers through apprenticeships in the fields of nuclear engineering, energy conversion and storage (fuel cells, Hydrogen, battery, photovoltaic, etc.), design and implementation of materials, sustainable development, environment, recycling, etc.

The Grenoble ecosystem is particularly active in the field of sustainable energies both in the industrial sector (Air Liquide, Verkor, Sylfen, McPhy, Inocel, SteelHy and Symbio) and research organizations (CEA LITEN, CNRS, INRIA).

Solid, interdisciplinary training in materials sciences, energy engineering, electrochemistry and process engineering. It allows engineers to have the necessary perspective to innovate in the sectors of energy conversion and storage, the design and implementation of carbon-free industrial processes, the design and use of innovative materials for the energy transition.

Training focused on innovation and linked to industrial research based on teacher-researchers and internationally recognized research laboratories: LEPMI, LPSC, SIMAP.

Innovative technical platforms making it possible to give apprentices high-level practical training thanks to funding obtained by Grenoble INP - Phelma, UGA through the AMIs (Calls for Expressions of Interest - "Skills and Professions of the Future" of the plan national France 2030) in the field of hydrogen (AMHY - Acceleration of the Assembly of Hydrogen training) and batteries (Ecole De La Batterie).

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Targeted careers : During the three years of training, apprentices acquire the skills to work in the sectors of energy transition, the implementation of carbon-free processes or the nuclear industry. In particular, they are able to take charge of missions relating to:
Eco-development, characterization, study of physical, physicochemical properties
and mechanical and recycling of materials.
The transformation of materials, their shaping and their implementation.
Design, modeling, sizing and implementation of processes
development and synthesis.
Waste treatment and recycling.
The development of electrochemical production, storage and conversion devices
energy (batteries, hydrogen, photovoltaics).
Corrosion prevention.
The operation of nuclear reactors.
