Course Details

Objectives: - Understand specifications to describe the function and environment of the room
- Model the behavior of the structure using finite elements
- Use digital optimization tools for possible optimization of the structure
- Have knowledge of rapid prototyping processes to produce a prototype of the structure, to present it to decision-makers and to judge the tools to be put in place

Acquired skills during the training : The mechanical engineering cycle is aimed at students interested in professional activity in a calculation office and research center. Students must be motivated by simulation, modeling, calculation, optimization of mechanical structures and engineering sciences. This knowledge will lead them to master very advanced fields of mechanics such as nonlinear responses, plasticity, crash, delamination of composites and thermomechanics.
