Objectives: Develop technological and scientific skills to design products and processes, linked to the mechanical behavior of materials under different stresses.
Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Acquired skills during the training : • Understand and master the fundamental principles of mechanics and materials.
• Master the cross-disciplinary engineering tools and their application in targeted professional activities.
• Analyze and master the main manufacturing processes for different classes of materials.
• Test and analyze process-material interactions and optimize a product's life cycle.
• Select a material and its forming process based on specifications.
• Understand and use digital tools for mechanical design, manufacturing, and calculations (CAD, topology optimization, CAM, finite elements).
• Define and control the production phases of new products using innovative manufacturing processes (e.g., additive manufacturing).
• Understand professional environments, particularly those in the targeted sectors, in line with societal constraints.
