Course Details

Objectives: The Advanced Maintenance Technician is a mid-level manager in industrial maintenance, positioned between senior technician and engineer. Their area of ??expertise is the maintenance and improvement of production equipment (safety, availability, reliability, maintainability) in relation to the factory of the future and emerging technologies.

With the aim of improving company performance, their role is to contribute to developing the company's maintenance and continuous improvement policy, provide technical and methodological expertise, integrate digital factory tools, and contribute to the company's quality, safety, and environmental policy.

Educational and professional objectives:
Measure and analyze the technical parameters and/or performance indicators of equipment on a production line or cell with the objective of operational safety (safety, availability, reliability, maintainability)
Assess the risks and impacts related to equipment drift on a production line or cell (quality, safety, productivity, environment)
Diagnose the cause(s) of a drift or malfunction of equipment on a production line or cell
Define technical methods or solutions for maintenance improvement in the areas of safety, availability, reliability, and maintainability
Coordinate actions to maintain or improve equipment on a production line or cell in operational condition in conjunction with the maintenance function
Monitor the economic performance of equipment maintenance on a production line or cell
Lead a working meeting or follow-up meeting on equipment maintenance on a production line or cell
Ensure traceability and reporting of equipment maintenance activities on a production line or cell to management

Intended for: Applicants must hold a two-year post-secondary diploma (or equivalent, level 5) with 120 ECTS credits, or a level 4 industrial certification with professional experience, as determined by the relevant training department.
