Objectives: The Plastics and Industrial Ecology specialization within the Bachelor of Science in Technological and Industrial Transformation, a degree conferring the equivalent of a bachelor's degree, offered on the Oyonnax campus, trains professionals capable of designing and producing polymer and composite materials with an eco-responsible approach.
Through training that combines technical skills with adherence to environmental standards, students will be prepared to meet the challenges of the ecological transition in industry.
The program spans three years, with a common core curriculum in the first year, including courses in fundamental sciences and engineering principles.
From the second year onward, students participate in a work-study program, specializing in plastics processing and industrial ecology.
The focus is on eco-design, recycling, and innovation in the production of bio-based materials.
The courses will be taught by industry professionals and teacher-researchers from INSA Lyon and the three other schools of the College of Engineering.
