Objectives: The Master's in Astrophysics and Space Sciences – Erasmus Programme (MASS) is integrated into the Master's in Fundamental Physics and Applications.
The joint Erasmus Mundus Master's programme in Astrophysics and Space Sciences (MASS) is offered jointly by a consortium of four universities: Université Côte d’Azur in France, the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" in Italy, the University of Bremen in Germany, and the University of Belgrade in Serbia.
The MASS program is a research-oriented, interdisciplinary Master's programme covering cutting-edge research in six main areas: gravitation and cosmology, stellar astrophysics, exoplanets, astrophysical techniques, astrostatistics, Big Data, and space science.
The Master's in Astrophysics and Space Sciences (MASS) allows its students to move between the four universities of the consortium to be exposed to the theoretical aspects of modern astrophysics, the knowledge and use of observation facilities, and/or data reduction and the scientific exploitation of massive datasets from current and future fieldwork. Experiences are based on space-based facilities.
