Course Details

Objectives: :
This RMGBM (Medical Radiophysique Course and Biomedical Genie) course trains operational executives in the high-tech health business sector, evolving to the ratings of health professionals. RM-GBM training content:
- General and multidisciplinary scientific base base (English, communication, computer, signal, images, sensors, imaging, metrology)
- Specialisation to RM or GBM across 2 EU per semester of the 1st Master's year.- Professionalization and project-specific lessons for GBM students.
- Teachings, research and preparation in the DQPRM competition for RM students.

The content of the teachings benefits from scientific advisors directly from health professionals (doctors, biomedical engineers, medical physicists...) of the Toulouse University Hospital.
Possibility of Apprenticeship in M2

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Admission requirements: Since september 2022, the RMGBM Master's course, which was attached to the EEA Master's mention of the University of Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier, is attached to the new Health Engineering mention.

For entry in M1:
The Master 1 Health Engineering RM-GBM is open to EEA licensees, but there is no full access to Master 1 Health Engineering: All students with a bachelor's degree can apply.
Foreign students with a foreign degree must inquire to use the application process that is adapted to them (Study in France, ...).
In all cases, a recruitment commission decides on the applications and pronounces the admissions.

Acquired skills during the training : All options:

Gathering information, writing documents and speaking in the field.Processing and analysis of data, signals, images from medical instrumentation.
Study of the patient's radiation protection.
Participation in scientific and/or clinical research.

RM option:

Participation in the design of instruments or installation, producing or detecting ionizing radiationManagement, analysis and data processing of imaging systems.
Measurements and calculations of the dose absorbed in imaging and radiotherapy.
Measurements and calculations of radioactivity.

GBM option:

Participation in the design, development, validation, marketing, promotion, quality, maintenance, installation and training of medical devices,Quality management and regulatory affairs.
Contribution/realization of the purchase, installation, staff training, renewal, maintenance management and materialovigilance of medical devices.
Control of the application of procedures and rules of hygiene, safety, quality.
