Course Details

Objectives: Master domain : Science, technology, health : the objective is to train high level technical executives in materials sciences, who can integrate with various industry departments (production, control,.Research and Development.,design office).
The voluntary non-spezialised training is about all classes of materials and nanomaterials (metals,alloys,ceramics, polymers, glasses,composites, nanocomposites).
However there is a privileged place for the domain of the surface treatments, that are very important at a regional level.
The training offers two options, including Materials for aeronautics and space.

Intended for: Students in Materials Sciences in initial training.
Professionals in vocational education.

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Prerequisites: Knowledges in Materials Sciences, that can have been acquired through different more or less spezialised approaches: Materials chemistery, materials physics,solid-states sciences, mecanics engineering, earth science, ....

Admission requirements: Selective entry on student report.
Students who have the first year of a Master (or equivalent) in materials sciences recognized.

People in vocational education,

Duration and terms: One year. First semester:10 teaching units (10x3 = 30 ECTS) Second semester:work experience in a firm (6 months) -30 ECTS

Notes: A part of the teaching is provided by members of organizations or firms of the aeronautics and space domains.
They are specialists in industries that are oriented to the research and the development of advanced materials.
