Course Details

Objectives: This Master in Mechatronics from the Polytech Orléans engineering school offers a specialized program open to students looking for high-level training at the interface between Robotics, Signal Processing, Instrumentation and Automation.
Three courses are offered: Robotics, Automatics, Signal.

The objective of the MARS master’s degree is broken down into three main points:
• offer training through research in mechatronics integrating robotics, automation, instrumentation and signal aspects;
• interest the best students in the preparation of theses in the proposed fields;
• to enable the student to acquire the knowledge necessary for the analysis, modeling of robotic systems, their integration, vision-referenced control, and signal processing.

Intended for: Students

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Prerequisites: Application on file at M1 and M2 level after validation of an EEA license, Mechanics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent.

Acquired skills during the training : • Design, modeling and control in robotics,
• Deployment of intelligent robotic systems capable of interaction and cooperation (with humans, the environment or other robots) and endowed with adaptation or autonomy capacities,
• Analysis and optimization of industrial robotic installations,
• Development and implementation of control systems allowing the improvement of propulsion systems by minimizing their ecological footprint,
• Design, define and carry out design and development work for new products or new processes in an industrial environment,
• Innovation and technological watch in areas related to robotics, automation and signal processing,
• Study the feasibility of the project and develop technical and technological proposals in the field of robotics, automation and signal processing,
• Perform tests and trials, analyze the results and determine possible improvements to an object, solution or process,
• Control and command systems,
