Master 2 Outils et Systèmes de l'Astronomie et de l'Espace (OSAE)

Course Details

Objectives: Vocational course for the second Year of the Master.

Intended for: Students from university or engineering school, holders of M1 or equivalent diploma.

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Prerequisites: Scientific education. Physics: level L3 minimum (or equivalent).
Practical knowledge of computing.

Admission requirements: Student record + interview

Duration and terms: 13 months including 6 as practical training

Notes: 1) This course is offered in conjunction with the following Masters:
- "Sciences de l'Univers et technologies" (Observatoire de Paris)
- "Sciences de l'univers, Environnement, Ecologie" (Univ. Paris 6)
- "Physique fondamentale et Sciences de l'ingénieur" (Univ. Paris 7)
- "Physique Fondamentale et Appliquée" (Univ Paris 11)
- "Information, Systèmes et Technologies" (Univ Paris 11)
- "Mécanique Physique" (Univ. Paris 11)
Students must be registered for one of these Masters.

2) This course is aimed at students holding a Maîtrise in Physics, Applied Physics, Technology, Electronics, Computing or Materials, or an approved postgraduate course or equivalent diploma, who are interested in Astronomy, and space sciences and technology.

Students should subsequently be able to find jobs in the space sector with the main manufacturers, small/medium-sized companies, agencies and international organisations.
