Course Details

Objectives: The challenges of the energy transition by 2050 lead to numerous technological breakthroughs in the areas of production, optimal distribution and rational use of fossil and renewable energies (energy efficiency and optimization of consumption, massive electrification, control and management of energy systems, cogeneration and energy recovery processes, new and renewable energies).

The first three semesters of training take place on a common core basis. The scientific curriculum combining mechanics, electrical engineering and information sciences is supplemented by general training (modern languages, communication, managerial sciences, systems engineering). Openings to the professional environment are guaranteed by internships in companies and multiple interventions by industrialists. International experiences are encouraged through numerous opportunities for academic exchanges and internships abroad. All of this allows you to acquire solid scientific and technical bases recognized by manufacturers, a precise understanding of issues in the field of energy and general knowledge essential to engineering professions.

From the second semester of the second year, training is organized in the form of skill blocks around energy networks, energy conversion, electrical machines, energy, control/monitoring and safety of energy systems, digital modeling/simulation and structural mechanics. A selection of these blocks makes it possible to personalize the training courses according to the students' professional projects: transport and mobility, industrial energy, energy networks, etc.

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
