Course Details

Objectives: The Science and engineering of materials sector trains engineers who are able to understand the various scientific and technological problems related to the manufacture and implementation of materials and to propose solutions in a context of Sustainable Development.

Objectives:
Master the processes of developing, shaping and assembling materials (metals, ceramics, polymers, composites)
Master the physical, physicochemical and mechanical properties linked to the microstructure of materials
Design and manufacture new innovative materials
Characterize materials at macro-, meso- and nanoscopic scales
Model the structure and behavior of materials
Analyze the life cycle of a material, eco-design

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Prerequisites: This path concerns the 2nd and 3rd year of this inginiering school.
It's better to have followed first year of common-core syllabus Phelma: Physics Proceeded Materials.
