Course Details

Objectives: For ten years we have witnessed a massive increase in communicating objects. They are now part of our daily Lives. Telecom applications, Consumer Multimedia mobiles, Banking and stock exchanges, automotive, RFID, satellite communication, biochips,.... constantly require very strong computational powers. All this has been made possible by the strong miniaturization of the nanoelectronics components, the very high integration power and the multiplication of communications standards. Industrial demand in these sectors of activity is very strong in recent years and continues to grow, boosted by the strong needs of the Market.
Objectives
The aim of this sector is to train high-level engineers and researchers in the advanced fields of digital and analog embedded microelectronics, on-chip systems (SOC), Microwave and radio frequency electronics and Optoelectronics. The engineer will Know:
-to model, synthesize and integrate architectures of complex systems on chip systems in applications ranging from the domain of telecommunications to bio-chips, to banking, industrial, aeronautical, and Automotives
-to realize not only the validation of these systems by formal methods, simulation and prototyping but also by the test and the Characterization. It will be trained on new issues and challenges in the design and testing of mixed and heterogeneous integrated digital circuits and analog systems,
-to conduct research and development in all areas of microelectronic, radiofrequency and optoelectronic systems design.
