Objectives: Science and aviation technologies fall within the field of mechanics at large. However, strong thematic characteristics exist and it is useful to train personnel capable in an aeronautical environment:
- Propose improvements to procedures or tools that allow production in the best conditions of quantity, quality, cost and time
- Solving technical problems (tools, work processes) that staff workshop meeting providing a solution in time to avoid a break in production
- From the documentation Design Office, establish work instructions for production staff in which he / she defines the components of the product, the most rational procedures for manufacturing, assembly, testing, monitoring, inspections, tools to use, the execution time and cost of each operation, the part numbers to get in stores.
Prerequisites: Bac or equivalent
Admission requirements: An Admission Committee meets annually to individually define the eligibility of candidates who completed a pre-registration dossier, including curriculum vitae, all diplomas and certificates proving their professional career and arguing their professional project which meets the THE 1st cycle.
Duration and terms: Classes are held at the Salon Air School for military personnel and at Polyaero Gap-Tallard for civilians. The teaching is divided into 7 units over a period of 3 months, for a total of 273 hours. The teaching methods are diversified: theoretical courses, tutorials, concrete case studies. This diversity must be brought to each seminar and it therefore implies the active participation of the students.
