Course Details

Objectives: The training provided by ESMA is approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). It fits directly into the curriculum required for the issuance of a license Mechanic Aeronautics (LMA). This license is recognized by all European countries, can eventually obtain an authorization to grant the approval for Rehabilitation Service (APRS) of a device. The accredited training, which lasts from 2400 hours 72 weeks, consists of theoretical (60%), practical workshops in school (25%) and practical lessons in real environment maintenance (15 %). The practical lessons in workshops, laboratories and aircraft to simulate different techniques and maintenance. Planning course allows participants to progress gradually and validate all general knowledge, specific aircraft and maintenance techniques.

Prerequisites: Applicants must be 18 years old, demonstrate a level equivalent to a BA General, technical or professional. A good level of English is generally required to work on the supports that will be provided.
