Course Details

Objectives: The Connected Objects option aims to train engineers capable of designing, developing, integrating and implementing energy-autonomous communicating electronic solutions, as well as understanding their interactions with the IT environment around them (networks, mobile applications). Thanks to the large number of projects proposed, it leaves an important place for creativity.

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Acquired skills during the training : At the end of this option, students will have acquired skills in hardware development around microcontrollers and FPGAs, in low-level embedded software development, in radio frequencies and in RFID. They will also be able to choose and implement on-board communication protocols as well as understand the issues of energy autonomy, security and mechanical integration. Depending on their aspirations, they can choose to develop a small mobile application associated with their product, to deepen their knowledge of embedded Linux or to specialize in systems on a chip and in microelectronics.
