Course Details

Objectives: The mechanical design of products is present in all industrial sectors. What flies, rolls, provides energy or facilitates our lives through everyday objects, is thought out, designed and manufactured by technicians and engineers trained in the fields of Mechanics. The GOAL Mechanical and Productive Engineering (GMP) delivers a level II diploma (Professional License) which prepares people for careers in the design, production and industrialization of products in all main sectors of industry.

Intended for: Holders of scientific, technological (STI2D) and professional baccalaureate related to mechanics (or equivalent level diploma)

Degree Level (EU) : 6 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Admission requirements: scientific, technological (STI2D) and professional baccalaureate related to mechanics (or equivalent level diploma)

Acquired skills during the training : • Design: analyze the need, design and define the product, study the feasibility;
• Manufacture: choose the process and optimize it, control the quality of the product;
• Improve performance: industrialize and organize production, approve and certify

Targeted careers : • Designers in Design Offices
• Supervisor and supervision in production services
• Senior technician and assistant engineer in study and research laboratories, in quality and testing departments, etc.
• Technical sales agent, industrial buyer, etc.
• Method agent in charge of quality control

Duration and terms: University and professional training in 6 semesters,
Professional situation (study and analysis of industrial projects, validation, finalization). Supervised hours (2000) and autonomous hours (600)
Industrial internships during the three years with a total duration of 24 to 28 weeks
Possibility of apprenticeship or professional contract in BUT3.
Collaborative tutored projects over every three years.
