Course Details

Objectives: The BUT Industrial Engineering and Maintenance offers the ISP (Multitechnical Systems Engineering) course.

The GIM department trains versatile senior technicians, capable of ensuring the maintenance and improvement of production equipment or technical installations of buildings and in the longer term, the management and leadership of a team.

Maintenance services are services that are very rarely offshored, which ensure the availability of all investments
of the company in very varied fields such as aeronautics, medical, construction, the industrial sector, IT,
agri-food, electronics, nuclear, services, environment.
Industrial engineering consists of the logistical organization allowing industrial production to achieve its objectives. The improvement
of the production tool as well as safety management and waste management are also taken into account.

The need for maintenance technicians will increase in the years to come due to the obligation of states to reduce their CO2 production and the scarcity of natural resources.

Degree Level (EU) : 6 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Targeted careers : Industries seeking these skills are found in very diverse fields such as IT, mechanics, electronics,
agrifood, services, the environment, etc.
