Course Details

Objectives: The objective of the professional license Production and Assembly of Electronic Systems (PASTEL) is to train technicians with a basic specialty focused on electronics, industrial computing, industrialization, the office of methods and processes in the electronics assembly and manufacturing industry.

Degree Level (EU) : 6 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Acquired skills during the training : Master the vocabulary and principles of the various electronic card manufacturing technologies: design, printed circuits, through-hole and SMD components, various soldering techniques, electrical testing and inspection means, statistical process management.
Carry out studies and tests in electronics as part of the development and evolution of components, sub-assemblies, electronic or electrical assemblies.
Set up and configure the vision system to carry out product control.
Specify the design conditions from a manufacturing point of view, allowing the design office to design boards or electronic modules under the best economic conditions.
Participate in the design evaluation from a manufacturing point of view at the various stages of industrialization.
Develop the assembly processes for each new product, characterize the optimal process conditions.
Carry out continuous improvement processes from the point of view of productivity.

Targeted careers : Intermediate manager, the graduate on the PASTEL course, will be able to intervene under the responsibility of an engineer, in the design and manufacture of electronic systems (design & manufacture of cards), the development and fine-tuning of techniques and electronic card assembly and manufacturing processes, process and product control, card inspection and repair.
