Course Details

Objectives: The Instrumentation, Measurement, Metrology (IMM) master's degree meets the needs of process industries, associated service companies, design, consulting, market prospecting and high-tech product development companies. It is also concerned with the field of companies marketing scientific equipment and with metrology laboratories or research centers. This mention targets professions identified in terms of sectors of activity and skills such as those encountered mainly in industry, specialized, scientific and technical service activities, information and communication, commerce, microelectronics and nanotechnology.

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Acquired skills during the training : Graduates of this training must be able, depending on the course:
- to develop, manage and implement engineering projects in instrumentation and control-command for industry and provide technical assistance,
- to design instrumentation and metrology solutions and associated systems, in order to develop, manage and implement tests in harsh environments (particularly in the nuclear field) or in order to contribute to industrial or R&D projects ,
- to market technical solutions in scientific instrumentation based on expertise and analysis of customer needs and applications while identifying market developments aimed at improving the company's strategy,
- to design, produce and characterize miniaturized sensors and detection devices, to integrate them into detection systems made more reliable by a global metrological approach.

Complementary Computing Skills Course: this is a way for scientific students to acquire in just 12 months solid training in general computing so that they can then have the choice of continuing either in their initial skills, but with the skills of a computer scientist, or to turn to the very numerous IT professions
