Course Details

Objectives: The goal of the International Logistics and Purchasing program is to enable students to acquire dual expertise in purchasing and logistics.

Indeed, these two specializations are closely linked in the current context of increasing internationalization of businesses and present numerous challenges for organizations constantly seeking cost savings and productivity gains. Purchasing represents more than half of the cost of goods sold for products or services. The logistics function provides companies with the essential tools to implement purchasing strategies (upstream logistics), process organization (internal logistics), and distribution (downstream logistics).

Faced with these new challenges, companies need specialists in purchasing and logistics functions, possessing technical skills and the ability to understand the company as a whole.

The first year of this Master's program allows students to acquire solid management skills at the interface of management control, purchasing, logistics, and human resources management.

This program is ranked among the top 15 Masters, Specialized Masters, and MBAs in France in its field; see the program description in the SMBG Yellow Guide.
