Course Details

Objectives: The mission is to train engineers and conduct applied research at the service of all the actors of transport: aeronautics, automobile, space, and rail.
Training responds to new challenges for the transport of tomorrow: respect for the environment, energy control, increasing urbanization. To meet these challenges, ESTACA trains multidisciplinary, multicultural engineers who will be able to find innovative technological solutions to meet the fundamental transformation of transport modes.

Duration and terms: 5 years

Notes: ESTACA is part of the ISAE group ((SUPAERO, ENSMA, Ecole de l'Air et de l’Espace, SUPMECA, ENAC) since 2012.
The training is designed in perfect synergy with the needs of industrial transport. A lot of courses are provided by professional engineers. Students also acquire valuable experience through the twelve months of training required. Following his training, the student is fully operational and a majority of graduates are hired before graduation.

2 research laboratories in connection with the teachings: Mechanics of Composite Materials and Environment (2MCE) - Embedded Systems and Energy for Transport (S2ET)

ESTACA is a member of 5 clusters. This involvement allows the school to better anticipate the needs of companies to better train the students.
The student may also be required to perform a research project implemented in collaboration between the ESTACA's laboratories and foreign universities.
International experience is mandatory at ESTACA. Thus, the school has exchange partnerships with 57 universities around the world. In addition, the interships' service offers internships that allow students to experience international work.
The students' involvement in civic projects is also part of the educational objectives of ESTACA.
More than 30 clubs allow students to be fulfilled in their lives outside school.
