Course Details

Objectives: Constantly evolving, the scope of the master's degree now extends to strategic and technological activities linked to aeronautics, space, and digital technology. Designed in partnership with large companies and institutions in these three sectors, the content of the courses is redesigned each year according to the needs of the job market.

The objective is to guarantee the professional integration of each graduate upon leaving M2. The DAST also aims to provide training in research in the fields of the master's degree. To this end, the lessons combine a theoretical and practical approach. The fundamental courses on space, aeronautics and digital law are supplemented by application modules in contract management, compliance, security and policy.

The training also has an interdisciplinary dimension to offer legal students the ability to communicate with all components of the company or host institution. Thus, the training offers technical and scientific courses, a week of courses relocated to the Isae-Supaéro campus (Toulouse), joint workshops with engineering and scientific students.

The training also presents a solid international outlook thanks to its teaching combining a national and transnational approach to issues, its courses taught in French and English, its multicultural teaching team (9 teaching nationalities), its promotions made up of half of foreign students. (68 graduated nationalities), and the participation of students in major international events.

Given the high demand for specialists in telecommunications law (5G, fiber, satellite, cables, connectivity), these profiles are particularly sought after. Another sector in tension is that of cyber defense and space defense. Candidates specializing in these issues are also sought.

Targeted careers : Sectors of employment: space activities and applications; aeronautics and air transport; telecommunications networks, equipment and services; providers of applications, services and digital content; media; AI and data commerce; defense and security; banks and insurance; and legal advice.

Duration and terms: Apprenticeship: Since 2016, training has gradually opened up to professionalization contracts at the request of its partners. After having successfully tested the work-study formula, the M2 DAST is now provided in apprenticeship. A few places are nevertheless reserved in initial training for non-French-speaking foreign students. In this case, students complete an internship or a dissertation instead of an apprenticeship.
