Course Details

Objectives: Mechanical Engineering Department of INSA Lyon trains general mechanical engineers.

The studies are organized in six semesters so to maximize the capabilities curiosity, adaptability, innovation and responsibility. The scientific training is complemented by an opening to the international economy and training modules, communication skills, management and project management.

Innovation is one of the strengths of the apprenticeship open in September 2011.

The studies are developed with a dual purpose:

provide a solid technical training: acquisition of knowledge and fundamental tools of mechanics, control methods of numerical simulation of physical phenomena.
develop the capacity of scientific curiosity, adaptability, initiative and taking responsibility.

Intended for: Students

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Admission requirements: 1st year: Scientific Bac S, STI, SL
3rd year: BUT, 2nd year CPGE, DEUG, L2
4th year: M1 or equivalent

Duration and terms: 5, 2 or 1 year depending on access level
